Sarda Energy & Minerals Limited is an India-based company which is engaged in the metal, mining and power sectors. It operates integrated steel manufacturing facilities, ferro alloy manufacturing facilities, backed by a captive thermal power plant. Its segments include Steel, Ferro Alloys, Power and Unallocated. It is engaged in the hydropower sector. Its products are Sponge Iron (DRI), Billets and Wire Rods, Ferro Alloys, Eco-Bricks, Mining, Power and Pellets. Its Sponge Iron or Direct Reduced Iron (DRI) is used for its own captive use to produce steel billets through an induction furnace route. Its Ferro alloys are value-added products usually used for the manufacturing of mild steel and special steel. Eco-Bricks manufactures eco-friendly bricks mainly from the plant waste generated from other divisions, like fly ash from power plant, granulated silico slag from ferro alloys and other products. Its subsidiaries are Sarda Global Venture Pte. Limited, Sarda Energy Limited and more.
