Angel One Account Opening: Process, Documents & Charges
A full-service broker offering flat ₹20 discount-style pricing, in-house research and one of India's largest branch networks.
Opening an Angel One account is free (₹0) and fully online. With Aadhaar-based e-KYC the form takes about 30–60 minutes to complete, and the account is usually activated within 24 hours of your documents being verified. You can also walk into any of Angel One's branches or an authorised person's office if you prefer doing it offline.
Keep your PAN, Aadhaar (linked to your mobile), a bank proof and your signature handy. If you want to trade F&O you will also need income proof — SEBI mandates this for the derivatives segment. Note that account closure is offline only: Angel One does not accept closure requests by email or phone, so keep the acknowledgement when you submit the form.
